On February 27th, 2019, Termotecnica Industriale acquired the STF business unit active in the engineering, supply and maintenance of boilers, including utility boilers, industrial boilers and heat recovery steam generators.
This business unit has been incorporated as a division of Termotecnica Industriale named STF BOILERS & HRSG.
STF BOILERS & HRSG is based in Magenta, about 25 Km west of Milan, in the former offices and workshops of STF.

Termotecnica Industriale is an Italian company, with headquarters located in Battipaglia (SA), active as engineering, procurement and erection contractor in the industrial sector. Termotecnica Industriale is specialized in the supply of industrial thermal units to a wide range of industries including paper, food & beverage, laundries, glass, district heating and cogeneration, chemical and petrochemical and mechanical industry. With the acquisition of the STF boilers business unit, Termotecnica Industriale inherits the technology and the expertise developed by STF in over 50 years of history in designing, manufacturing and installing industrial boilers, utility boilers and heat recovery steam generators. Before this acquisition, Termotecnica Industriale entered into a license to use the technology and the references of Pensotti FLC in the sector small-medium size industrial boilers, heat recovery steam generators, biomass fired boilers and waste to energy boilers that are now available to STF BOILERS & HRSG. The boilers designed and supplied from the Magenta division are sold with the brand STF BOILERS & HRSG.
STF BOILERS & HRSG employs highly skilled personnel coming both from STF and from Pensotti FCL. STF BOILERS & HRSG offers a wide range of boilers, from small to large size, including industrial boilers, heat recovery steam generators, waste-to-energy boilers, waste heat recovery boilers, biomass fired boilers and utility boilers, utilizing any fuel. STF BOILERS & HRSG is one of the few boilers suppliers still capable of managing the whole supply chain of its products including conceptual design, basic design, detailed engineering, manufacturing in its workshops, site installation, commissioning, start-up and maintenance services. In-house engineering ensures customised design solutions. With in-house manufacturing capabilities, the continuous exchange of information between engineering and manufacturing and the direct control over the manufacture ensures high quality products.

For health and safety, STF BOILERS & HRSG undertakes to:
•Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy workplace environment and prevent injuries, illnesses or damage to the health of employees, suppliers, customers and visitors, through procedures and instructions dedicated;
•Risk Analysis - The constant analysis of the risks to health and safety of workers associated with the working processes;
•Continuously improve the Health &Safety Management Systems’ performance, not only with respect to the
prevention of injuries and work-related illnesses, but also in terms of more general employees’ wellbeing through a
new health surveillance program that take care workers during their foreign mission;
•KEY ROLE OF THE WORKER - The recognition and responsibility for each worker through active participation,
communicating potential dangers, careless behaviour, accidents, including “near misses”, and the promotion of initiatives for improvement;
•Promote through educational initiatives and information promoting the virtuous behaviour with the goal of
spreading and consolidate a culture of health and safety at work;
•Promote among contractors and suppliers with constant attention to the health and safety principles, ensuring the
adoption of a conduct which is in line with the principles of the company policy.
